Although it is not necessary to get in line this early - if you are serious about collecting or have a favorite artist in mind,  you may want to be within the first 100 in line to get first dibs on those "special pieces."  A good night's sleep will leave you feeling alert and help you to soak in all aspects of the show.

Lovers of Halloween will be dazzled by the displays of original Halloween art including pottery, jewelry, paper mache and sculpture, paintings, fiber arts, wood carving, and vintage collectibles.

All Hallows Art fest

Historic Hermann Sons Hall provides a uniquely vintage ambiance and creates the perfect backdrop for all of the art and amazing Halloween collectibles that will be on display.

The show is divided into two rooms -
The Main Hall and the Raven Room. Shoppers generally stay at the show for at least 2-3 hours, taking several turns around the rooms in order to see everything, pick the Halloween art pieces that call to them, and chat with the artists and fellow collectors.

This once a year event can draw the crowds, especially during the first few hours, and with an average of 31 dedicated Halloween artists, the amount of unique Halloween art and collectibles can be a bit overwhelming but WORTH IT!
- Read our "Show Hacks" blog posting for tips and tricks to successfully shopping the show.

After the show, celebrate your successful shopping with lunch at the Fremont Diner.  About a 15 minute drive outside of Petaluma - The Fremont is well worth the trip.
Fremont diner desserts are amazingTry the spicy chicken on white bread, homemade biscuits if they have them (the menu changes), and the grits are spectacular.  We recommend going with a group and "sharing" so you can try it all.
TIP: order dessert first - the best ones tend to sell out fast. The burnt caramel cake is to die for!

Visit Sonoma

The Sonoma Town Square is the perfect place to take a lazy nap after the Fremont Diner. Surrounded by charming shops and galleries, it is the perfect place to while away the rest of your afternoon.

Once again we recommend an early night - in preparation for the Sunday Petaluma Antique Faire.

As with any Antique Faire - the early bird gets the worm... plan to be at the Acre Coffee on 4th St. around 7:15 a.m.  Grab a quick bite to eat and one of their excellent coffee or tea drinks to fortify yourself - then head out and start shopping.

The Faire is officially opened from 8am - 4pm. The Faire is held on Fourth, Kentucky & Western Streets. Expect to find great deals and steals - a variety of dealers offer everything from French Country Chic to the contents of grandma's attic.
Make a second pass through the faire as the relaxed Petaluma atmosphere usually means some dealers are still putting goods out as late at 10 a.m.
Petaluma Pete

Tip: Stop and listen to Petaluma Pete - a piano playing tradition that adds to the festive atmosphere of the fair.
Petaluma Pie Company

Grab lunch at the Petaluma Pie Company. - the sweet and savory hand pies and tarts are amazing at this tiny shop.  Take your selections "to-go" and then head out on one of these "easy day trips" -

Dillon Beach-Located just 35 min from Downtown Petaluma

Charles Schultz Museum - Santa Rosa California

Antique shopping in Sebastopol-Antique Society is our favorite

Visit Sonoma- Stroll the Sonoma Square, pickup fresh cheese, grapes, and a bottle of wine at the Sonoma Cheese Factory

Go wine tasting - Napa

Head to Point Reyes- See the ocean and sample the oysters!
